This blog is about Sarah and Ani’s Nikaah Ceremony. They had two events for their wedding.

We did a photoshoot session at Shinn Historical Park in Fremont before we got to the venue. The photoshoot was perfect at golden hour with golden hues on the couple and we also did their first look away from the crowds which was very special for them.

We got decor and guests mingling before the bridal entry for her Nikaah. After the Nikaah ceremony we got family and friends photos on the stage. This was followed by lots of dancing. Sudanese music is amazing and we had a great time photographing the dancing.

The bride wears a red toub and the groom wears a white jalabiya or two-piece Sudanese clothing called Alal allah with a red ribbon and gold crescent around his head. The Bride wears a long, loose-fitting white or pastel-colored robe (called “jellabiya”), a headdress, arabic coin headpiece, coined headhat. The bride and groom wore traditional red and walked down the aisle together. They had the Sudanese ceremony and the night ended at midnight.
