Some evenings turn into poetry. Gulzarish was one of those — a musical homage to Gulzar, held at JCC, Palo Alto, CA. What made it even more special was its purpose: it acted as a fundraiser for Asha for Education, bringing together art and altruism under one roof.
What made Gulzarish 2024 resonate deeply was the dedication of the musical ensemble: the entire group flew in from Orange County just for this event. Their passion and commitment shone through in every verse and melody. After witnessing the success of Gulzarish 2024, the organizers have already requested them back to perform again in the Bay Area — a testament to how deeply the performance touched hearts.
The venue was transformed with tasteful elegance. The stage was dressed by Decor by Sphundhann, creating a backdrop that mirrored the lyrical beauty of Gulzar’s words. The artists were styled by Sugarglam HMUA, whose hair and makeup elevated each performer under the warm stage lights. Their outfits were curated by T C Urban Couture, blending contemporary flair with cultural grace.
Every moment—from the entrance to the final applause—was infused with emotion and artistry. We, at Red Rose Photo & Film, had the privilege of documenting this convergence of creativity and purpose. The lights, the expressions, the music — all of it told a richer story.
