Handloom Inspired Reception Decor at Palo Alto Hills Golf & Country Club, Palo Alto, CA

This reception design beautifully blends Indian artistry, traditional handloom, and contemporary event design. Special attention was given to incorporating authentic handloom textiles, with an emphasis on supporting and celebrating the craftsmanship of artisans in India. The rich, intricate textiles bring warmth, color, and cultural character to the reception.

The architectural elements surrounding the central seating area were custom-designed specifically for this celebration. The structures were created with a distinctive textured finish, with custom imprints incorporated into the surfaces to complement the handloom textiles and create a cohesive visual story.

Gold draping, lush greenery, candlelight, and sculptural floral arrangements complete the setting. Tall white architectural structures create a dramatic backdrop, while cascading greenery and glowing candles soften the clean lines. The reception tables continue the aesthetic with elegant floral arrangements, candlelight, detailed place settings, and colorful handcrafted elements.

The result is a reception that feels elegant, culturally rooted, and thoughtfully designed, bringing together traditional Indian craftsmanship with a refined contemporary aesthetic.
