Indian Wedding | The Club at Castlewood

Aditi and Rahul celebrated their beautiful Indian wedding at the picturesque The Club at Castlewood, a stunning venue that perfectly complemented the joyous occasion. Incidentally, we are also preferred vendors at this gorgeous location, which made the experience even more special for us. Aditi is North Indian Hindi and Rahul is South Indian Tamil, a sweet fusion of two culturally rich states that beautifully culminated in this heartfelt wedding celebration.

We started the day with Aditi’s getting ready portraits at the hotel. With only had about 30 minutes to spare, we had to work quickly before rushing to the venue. Rahul’s mock getting ready took place at the venue itself. Their first look happened on the infamous Palm Drive, with several pauses to avoid passing vehicles—and numerous wedding guests stopping to cheer and congratulate the happy couple.

After the emotional first look, it was time for the Baraat, which was full of fun, festivity, and lively dancing. Rahul changed into traditional South Indian attire for the ceremony. We captured plenty of stunning drone shots and documented the beautiful wedding ceremony with a mix of creative and candid moments. Following the ceremony, we took family and friends’ photos on the mandap, followed by bridal party portraits and finally photos of the couple.

The afternoon concluded with a scrumptious South Indian meal featuring a wide variety of authentic dishes. There was a short break between events during which we took a quick nap, as the day had started very early for us. Refreshed and ready, we moved on to the evening reception.

That evening, we managed two simultaneous events: the Sangeet at The Glass House and the reception back at Castlewood. One team captured the vibrant Sangeet at the Glass House, view the sangeet blog here, while another stayed at Castlewood to document the reception. While waiting for the groom’s arrival, we took some lovely bridal portraits. The portrait session continued with more couple and family photos, concluding on the golf course once the golfers had left the area.

Throughout cocktail hour, the couple mingled warmly with friends and family. The reception program kicked off with grand entrances, followed by dinner, heartfelt speeches, and a surprise dance performance. The night wrapped up with lively open dancing, ensuring a memorable celebration for everyone involved.
