Indian Wedding | The Club at Ruby Hill
We love it when siblings choose us for their wedding photography and video — it’s a true honor to be invited back into the family and witness another chapter of their story. We photographed Roshni’s brother’s wedding in 2023 at The Club at Ruby Hill, where the bocce ball court was framed by beautiful wisterias that provided stunning portraits of the couple and lovely, natural bridal party shots. The couple requested a private first look, and we captured several intimate, candid, and highly emotional moments between them. The baraat lasted nearly 40 minutes and was full of energy, fun, and nonstop dancing, setting a joyful tone for the day. The groom’s welcoming and the garland exchange took place in the foyer, with a deck used for the garland ritual to create a memorable, picturesque scene. The bride’s entrance was a choreographed dance with her friends; following the exchange, the couple descended the stairs to the patio while dancing continued in the ballroom before everyone moved toward the mandap. The ceremony honored Hindu traditions and featured heartfelt vows exchanged by the couple, creating many beautiful photo- and video-worthy moments. After a lively cocktail hour we transitioned into the reception program — after grand entrances they performed an unforgettable first dance and a touching family dance that had everyone smiling. While dinner was being served we slipped outside for more intimate portraits of the newlyweds in the soft evening light. A brief meet-and-greet with guests was followed by moving family speeches, and the night wrapped up with joyful open dancing that kept the energy high. Sit back and enjoy the slideshow.
