Kerela + Telugu Wedding | Shiva Vishnu Temple, Livermore

Venue — Shiva Vishnu Temple

A warm, sunlit morning at the Shiva Vishnu Temple set the scene for a beautifully woven Kerala and Telugu wedding at Laki Reddy Hall. The day unfolded with a calm, intentional rhythm: quick portraits, immediate family groupings, a ceremony that blended traditions, and candid moments that told the real story of the couple and their families.

We began with Quick Portraits of the couple, next we moved into immediate family portraits.

Ceremony: A Telugu Heart with Kerala Notes The ceremony itself was primarily Telugu with thoughtful Kerala elements woven throughout, creating a layered cultural celebration. Traditional Telugu rituals held center stage, with jeera gala bellam, saree changes, ritualistic symbolism, and warm family participation. Both bride and groom changed outfits during the wedding.

Candid Moments Throughout Throughout the ceremony we focused on unobtrusive, candid coverage.

Closing Portraits: Family, Friends, and the Mandap After the ceremonial rites, we captured portraits of extended family and friends — lively, celebratory groupings that reflected the communal joy. The day concluded with portraits of the couple on the mandap.

This wedding combined two cultural traditions with grace and sincerity. Our approach balanced quick, classic portraits with candid-style candid work to create a comprehensive visual narrative. The result is a collection of images that honor ritual, family, and the private moments that make a wedding uniquely theirs.

If you’re planning a multicultural ceremony at the Shiva Vishnu Temple or another Bay Area venue, we’d love to help you tell your story with the same care — blending formal portraits and natural moments into a timeless wedding album.
